Men's Men and Women's Women by Steve Craig

Steve Craig explains how their are different ways to catch the audiences attention when viewing commercials. It tells that they are able to catch the audiences attention while using the age and a persons gender through market research. Their are four ways to do this. They can catch the male viewers by using Men's men and Men's women. To get the female viewers they use Women's women and Women's men.

In this article I learned that commercials are targeted to specific groups of people. I never really cared about watching commercials since they seem boring to me. For the commercials I have seen I didn't noticed that they were being targeted for a specific gender. I always thought that was how they wanted to pro tray the products they were selling. Steve Craigs article had shown me that I was wrong about that and the commercials were being produced  to attract one gender by using different means.
